I stumbled upon a photography contest for the Medicine Hat Library, called Get Caught Reading. It was in the Medicine Hat newspaper, and I thought this was such a cool idea for a theme that I spent the 3 hour drive home concocting different cute and funny ideas to shoot.
These are the themes I submitted to the contest, I was very happy with how they turned out. My favorite is the hare brained rabbit. |

What I found very amusing is that it wasn’t until after I submitted the pictures that I even realized there was a prize. For me the joy of photography is to capture a moment by being creative in my approach, and to share a story through images. |
