The current system (version 1.00.00.B2) has the following features
- Referal capable system.
- Kaptcha verification built in.
- Double opt is required (all subscriptions are emailed).
- Dates can and are validated.
- System is easily configured and structured to be extendible (I have linked a "Contact_us" page to this on another site.
- All emails are sent using a template system. so all emails, newsletters and webpages can be made very personable.
- Additional fields are easily added to the system.
- uses PHP, MYSQL and the PEAR:MAIL package.
Do to limitations with all the other subscriber systems (or modules) out there, the goal of
this project was to create the entire subscription process. I drew a line in the sand at the
mailer aspect as there are many thousands of mailers out there. I am currently still trying to
get a few to work and once they do I will add a section here on suggested mailers to use with
this system. If you have any that you like, please contact me and I will review them and add
them here.
