Have you ever wondered what those windows have seen? It has been many decades since these windows were lovingly set in place in the freshly laid motor. To bring light in as well as let those passing on the outside a glimpse of the life that this building would house. Would a soon to be famous person grow up in an upstairs apartment? Or would someone sit near these windows and paint a picture of the early Calgary downtown skyline, or wait patiently looking out at the street for their first date to arrive. Windows of a building are like windows into the soul, we can look deeply inside at the spirit that beats within. |
